Today I read 2½ chapters in Proverbs and Chapter 2 in 2 Corinthians. My favorite verses from these were:
Proverbs 3:5-7 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
Both of these point to the fact that what we know is not nearly as important as what He knows. We need to share what we know from Him with others. Lord, as I go through this day and attend church tonight, may my mind and heart be centered on You.
