Today I read Proverbs 14 and 15 and 2 Corinthians 9. My favorite verses are:
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
Pastor Art mentioned Sunday night in his message that we don’t have to worry about Santa Claus knowing if we’ve been bad or good; rather we had better be concerned that God sees everything we do. He even knows our thoughts and intentions. 2 Corinthians 9:8 points out that it is by God’s grace that we do good work.
I have a special Thank You to God today. I took my daddy to his pulmonologist for a lung x-ray. He has been taking antibiotics for a lung abscess for five months. The x-ray today showed that the abscess is completely healed. God is faithful to answer our prayers.
